About the Farm

Manor Court Farm Bed & Breakfast is offered in a spacious, listed Georgian farmhouse with full central-heating. We can cater for up to six adults and children. Camping, with shower, washing and toilet facilities in a recently converted farm building, is offered in the garden, amongst the old farm buildings, and in a nearby field with views to Ashdown Forest. We aim to create a warm and friendly atmosphere so guests can relax and enjoy the farm and the surrounding lovely countryside of Kent and Sussex. There are various animals around the farmstead such as cats, dogs, guinea fowl, geese, chickens, ducks, and horses. There is ample parking, protected by security features.
Manor Court Farm is a working arable and sheep farm of 350 acres, with cornfields, pastures and woodlands stretching to the river Medway. We have a flock of around 500 sheep. Guests are welcome to explore the farm which has extensive public footpaths including the Weald Way and the Sussex Border Path. We welcome walkers and cyclists.
The farm is located in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the main A264 road, 5 miles west of Tunbridge Wells and 1/2 mile east of Ashurst village. Gatwick airport is 40 minutes away, and there are regular train services from Ashurst, and nearby towns of Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge. The train journey to London takes about 45 minutes. The Channel Tunnel is approximately an hour away by car. The farm is ideally located for those wanting a relaxing holiday, a short break or a base for exploring the South-East of England.
