Manor Court Farm Accommodation Ashurst

Manor Court Farm is a working arable and sheep farm, which has been in the Matthews family since 1955. It covers 350 acres, with cornfields, pastures and woodlands stretching to the river Medway. There is a flock of around 500 sheep. We used to have a large dairy herd, and 300 pigs, as well as growing a large acreage of potatoes. Now the farm is 'Share-farmed' with a neighbouring farmer, and some of the redundant farm buildings are rented out as business units.

Guests at our Bed and breakfast in Kent are welcome to explore the farm which has extensive public footpaths including the Weald Way and the Sussex Border Path. We welcome walkers and cyclists. Manor Court Farm has joined the South East England Tourist Board Walkers and Cyclists charter which means that we provide additional facilities and assistance for those guests who arrive on foot or by bicycle. These range from drying facilities to a lift to the pub in the evening, so if you're looking for an active short break in Kent, we can help.

The farm is located in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the main A264 road, 5 miles west of Tunbridge Wells and 1/2 mile east of Ashurst village. Gatwick airport is 40 minutes away, and there are regular train services from Ashurst, and nearby towns of Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge. The train journey to London takes about 45 minutes. The Channel Tunnel is approximately an hour away by car. The farm is ideally located for those wanting a relaxing holiday, a short break in Kent or a base for exploring the South-East of England.
