Manor Court Farm in Kent is ideally situated for visiting a wealth of historic houses and gardens, the coast, Oast houses, hop gardens and the lovely countryside in South East of England. We are on the border of Kent and Sussex- both are very pretty counties. Kent is known as 'the garden of England'.
Within easy reach are Penshurst Place and gardens, Hever Castle, Bedgebury pinetum, Brogdale fruit garden, Chartwell (the home of Winston Churchill), Great Dixter house and gardens, Leeds Castle, Chiddingstone Castle, Ightham Mote, Bodiam Castle, Knole (where Vita Sackville-West was born), Sissinghurst Castle (renowned for its beautiful gardens created by the same Vita, where she lived later in her life), Groombridge Place with Enchanted Garden (just one mile away), Pooh Corner and Hundred Acre Wood (5 miles), Scotney Castle, Ashdown Forest, and Standen (the home of William Morris). Many other private local homes and gardens are open on certain days each year - we can give you advice and help you plan your outings.
